Happy World Down Syndrome Day!

World Down Syndrome Day, March 21, is a day to create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome.  Each year the voice of people with Down syndrome, and those who live and work with them, grows louder. But there is still so much more we can do.

Sophia and I are hitting up our second preschool this week to read a couple stories.  One is about our own little Sophia herself and what it means to have Down syndrome.  The other book is about how we are all different, but still the same.  We had a great time on Monday reading and are super excited to be going to Jayden's school today!

If nothing else, take the time today to celebrate that it's okay to be different.  Differences are what make our world so beautiful!
