Stuck in a rut

I feel like I've been in a rut with this whole blogging thing lately.  I haven't had much to say, about anything really, and as far as pictures....well I had been slacking in that department too.  So I busted out my phone camera this past week and have been trying to post something half way cute that family and friends want to look at :)  I read my other blogs that I follow, and these moms always seem to have something to say.  Whether it's funny or serious or just down right inspiring, it always has me wondering, where do they come up with all this stuff 3 or 4 times a week, when I can barely put a sentence together once every couple weeks!  So today when we were outside playing, I was watching my girls play.  Playing with me, playing by themselves and even playing a little together, and I started thinking about each one of them individually and the little things that they do that make me love them so much and that remind me why I love being a mother, their mother, each and every day.

I love the way that Sophia pats me on the back when she gives me a hug.  I love the way that Jayden still calls me Mommy.  I love how Sophia can tell me exactly what she wants without using a single word.  Of course there is a lot of yelling and finger pointing, but girl gets her point across real fast!  I love that when Jayden really needs someone, that someone is still me.  I love how Sophia still waddles when she walks.  I love watching Jayden slowly transform from a preschooler into a soon-to-be kindergartner.  I love how Sophia can't talk back to me.....yet.  I love how Jayden amazes me every single day with how smart she is.  I love that Sophia loves to cuddle, almost anytime of the day.  I love that when I need Jayden the most, she always rises to the occasion.  I love that Sophia is so much less like a baby and so much more like a toddler with each passing day.  I love the moments with Jayden when it's all about hugs and kisses and just wanting to be my little girl, which seem to happen less and less and she's only 5!  I love how Sophia smiles every time someone smiles at her, and that is one girl who can light up the entire room with her smile!  Most of all, I love that my girls love me.  Not for the Mommy that I wish I were at times, but because of the Mommy that I am every day, flaws and all.
